Do Dragons Exist?

We are very excited about our new topic, Do Dragons Exist?

We will identify the different parts of a castle and learn about the people and animals who lived there. In PE we will move like dragons and unearth dragon eggs from the sand. What will we find inside? We will dress up in royal finery and as knights, sticking to the knight’s code by working together and being kind. We will create and label castle picture cards and identify rhyming words in dragon poetry. In our maths lessons, we’ll count gold coins into numbered dragon jars and many other exciting things. Getting creative, we will draw dragons, try out some hoop weaving and make a friendly dragon to protect our classroom.

ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE PARENTS FOR RECEPTION SEPTEMBER 2021

Due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we are not able to offer our traditional open morning for prospective parents and pupils of our Reception class for September 2021. Instead, we have put together a virtual tour and introduction to our school and our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit. It is posted under our Early Years Foundation Stage page on the website, which can be found under the 'Our School' tab.

We are also hosting a virtual Question and Answer session for prospective parents via Google Meet. The meeting will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, 12th November and can be accessed via this link: meet.google.com/abi-hiqp-vfp
